Sierra On-Line, 1994
The VGA remake of this title is an excellent example of how quickly computer technology grew in it's early days. Virtually the same plot and puzzles are to be found, but the graphics and animated sequences were totally redesigned and the result changed the standard of adventure gaming forever. With Larry's new look in place, Sierra changed the interface from text to a fully mouse supported point-and-click control. And instead of simply using your PC's internal speakers, sound card support was added to give music and sound effects a boost.
